I am a digital consultant specializing in web design, logo design, and marketing and promotional materials creation. I'm a teacher by heart and by trade, and have worked in educational settings for 21 years.
My love for the digital world began in 1990, and my passion for technology has been a part of me since then. I began by building a classroom website, then my school website, then on to tutoring high school students the craft. I got my first "real" web design job at the Florida Times Union. Since then, I have created an online presence for the Florida Center for Reading Research at FSU, and Project CENTRAL at UCF, along with countless other small businesses and non-profits. Working as a consultant for Wireless Generation, I trained thousands of teachers and administrators how digital assessments can change the way they use their time.
I continue to persue my passion of "digital literacy" by bringing the digital world to everyday people, and allowing their "mind's eye" to be seen by the rest of the world.
I am currently writing for EXAMINER.com.
